My very first podcast and the start of the Lost Podcasts of Doctor Who. Mainly introductions I'm afraid... the best stuff comes next episode. But I had to start somewhere. Make sure and let me know what you think by emailing me at ruth@darkhole.co.uk - and check out the website: www.darkhole.co.uk This episode we take the first look at George's "Final Adventures Of Doctor Who" audio series with his first trailer and we play a few of my favourite Doctor Who clips. Enjoy!

Clean, clear, relaxed, perhaps a little quiet. Can we have more of the marvelous first cybermen impersonation please...

Thanks and will do with the cybermen! Hope to have lots more monster voices for next episode - the cybermen are a family favourite.

Fast download, Ruth, this is great and I've heard! There's loads of info. Keep on poddin'! CGI is great but overused..it's too easy and making Special FX lazy. My fave's are Pertwee and Baker but I grew up with them - never saw Hartnell or Troughton. In fact I've missed quite a lot of his incarnations. So this is a bit of a specious comment.

Why do they keep changing the music? Probably are some s3ms and mod mixes of the theme out there, even some cheesy midis? The music did use to scare the c**p out of me probably cos I was so absorbed in what was going on and then there would be this shriek. Aaargh...

    That's enough comments.

Great show Ruth! I have been searching all over for some good Dr. Who casts and if your first one is any indication this is definitely one I will follow! I love the fact that it downloads at 128K/bits/sec.,that makes for great listening. Your use of sound effects are great also, it makes for a more "involved" experience. Keep it up!

So when is the next one already!!

Thanks for the encouragement, and a lot of the people have commented about the speedy download. Don't ask me, if I did it it was an accident!

The sound effects I'll work on. I haven't quite managed to integrate them into the speech yet, but there are some great Doctor Who clips out there and I aim to play them all.

Next one should be out by Monday 14th - I'm just waiting for the last touches to be made to the Final Adventures of Doctor Who first episode. Hope I still have listeners by then!
